Canon M50 vs M200 – Check Why You Should Pick Canon EOS M50!
Canon M50 was released in 02-2018 & Canon M200 in 09-2019. Both are excellent cameras with lots of similarities & few differences. If you are looking for the best one, then I would recommend Canon M50 rather than M200.
Why do I recommend Canon M50?
- Canon M50’scontinuous shooting speed is 10 fps, Which means it can take up to 10 pictures in a second whereas M200 can take up to 6. To do that you just need to press & hold the shutter button. This feature gives you more options to select the best shoot from 10 of them.
- It has 2,360k dots higher resolution screen that helps to display more detailed visual information than the Canon M200.
- The M50 has digital Image Stabilizer which helps to reduce image blurring to get a perfect shoot, but Canon M200 Doesn’t have any image Stabilizer.
- Both DSLR ISO range is 100-25600. But Canon M50’s ISO is expandable to 51200 while M200’s is not. You will get 2 times better low-light photography with Canon M50.
- It has a microphone port where you can attach a microphone & shoot video with crystal-clear sound quality. On the other hand, M200 doesn’t have a microphone port.
- The Canon M50 offers AE Bracketing features that help to shoot equally in tough lighting conditions and shadow areas. But Canon M200 doesn’t have this feature.
- It has a focus bracketing option, which allows you to take several images with different points of focus. M200 doesn’t allow you to do that.
- The device combines NFC technology that lets you instantly share files. On the other hand, Canon M200 doesn’t include the NFC function.
- The Canon M50 also has a timelapse recording feature for creative shooting. But the M200 does not come with this amazing option.
Maybe the Canon M200 price can make you comfortable because it’s little bit cheaper than the M50. But you have to compromise all the above-mentioned features, now the choice is yours. I hope it was helpful to make the right decision.
